"Animal Farm" Audition for the Theater
Performers needed for "Animal Farm" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: In a world destroyed by war and collapse, a new society rises - one run by animals. In this haunting and dystopian adaptation, Orwell’s Animal Farm is reimagined with chilling influences from his other works, like 1984. As the animals claim freedom and equality, a darker force begins to take shape - fueled by fear, surveillance, and control. This is a world where the revolution devours itself, and where truth becomes a tool of power. Set in a bleak, post-human landscape, this production offers a gripping, physical, and immersive experience for cast and audience alike. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: Cold readings from the script (provided at auditions). Wear comfortable clothing for movement. Be ready to explore intense, character-driven scenes in a dystopian style. No experience required - just a strong work ethic and willingness to create something daring. REHEARSALS: Held on Saturdays, starting in early September; Additional rehearsals added during tech week; PERFORMANCE DATES: November 20–22, 2025. If interested, please apply.
