About the project: SASHIMI follows a young, Chinese immigrant, JINGYI, working at a small grocery store, quietly navigating the tedious rhythm of customer service. Until an unexpected connection with her co-worker, MARY, reveals a hidden truth they both share beneath the surface. This is a story about self-awakening, mutual recognition, and the strength found in shared silence turned to solidarity. Rate: Paid ($200/day for leading and supporting roles) + Credit and Meals provided.
