ONLY ON, QB, and NB LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. The company is seeking Canadians from all walks of life for a Canadian Media Fund Documentary campaign. See the details below. About the project: MADE | NOUS is producing a heartfelt, documentary-style campaign celebrating how Canadian film, television, and digital media shape personal identity, community, and culture. This cross-country project will feature real Canadians from all walks of life, sharing authentic, emotionally rich stories connected to the Canadian screen industry. If cast in our English video, you will be interviewed on-camera by Canadian host George Stroumboulopoulos! Each participant will appear in a short vignette filmed in their hometown, offering personal reflections and memories tied to Canadian content. Whether it’s a childhood show that sparked imagination, a film that offered healing, or a series that brought a family together — these stories will showcase the cultural legacy and emotional power of Canada’s screen-based storytelling. Rate: This is a non union campaign. Individuals will be paid an honorarium of $1,000.00 per person. Additional info: filming in Toronto, Montreal, New Brunswick and surrounding areas. (Montreal/Trois Riviere/ Quebec City/ Kamouraska areas, New Brunswick, Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John) If you speak English, do the self tape in English. If you are bilingual, please speak in both English and French in your self tape. You must be available for one of the following dates in your city, if selected: Shoot Dates: - Montreal/Quebec City/Trois-Riviere/Kamouraska and surrounding areas - (August 4th-10th) Will work our way to NB and meet you in smaller communities too - New Brunswick and surrounding (August 9th-14th) - Toronto and surrounding (tbd in September between 4-11) Talent will film for one day.
