The company is holding auditions for "Zombie Prom" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: "Zombie Prom" is a rock and roll musical set in the 1950s at Enrico Fermi High School. It tells the story of Toffee, a popular senior, and Jonny, a rebellious "bad boy," who fall in love. Their romance is short-lived when Toffee's parents, under pressure from the school principal, force her to break up with him. In despair, Jonny commits suicide by jumping into a nuclear waste dump, only to return as a zombie due to the radiation. He then tries to win Toffee back and attend the prom, despite the principal's objections and the scandal reporter Eddie Flagrante's attempts to exploit the situation. Additional info: Please arrive approx 10-15 min prior to audition to fill out paperwork. If call backs are required they will be held Sunday, July 27 in the afternoon. First read through is expected to be Friday, August 1st subject to change. Most rehearsals will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings with some scattered rehearsals on some Friday evenings or Saturday afternoon. All cast members will not be required at all rehearsals. Show dates will be Oct 17 and 18 at 7PM and Oct 19 at 2PM. You must be available for all shows and tech week is mandatory. Please prepare 1 min from a 50’s style song that shows off your signing ability. You may sign a cappella or with your own music (with no other vocals). You will also be asked to do a cold read and possibly do a short dance combination. Please apply if interested.
