Singing Audition for "The Rocky Horror Show" Play
Seeking male and female singers for "The Rocky Horror Show". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Actors will receive a stipend of *$800, 4 complimentary tickets to The Rocky Horror Show for friends and family, two season tickets to the Ziegfeld Theater, good for one year, and a $300 gift card to the Egyptian Theater. (*if double cast, the stipend will be split between the two actors). Actors will also be given a discount code that can be shared with friends and family for use at checkout. For each ticket sold using their discount code, actors will earn $5. Additional info: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Rock songs from the 70s or 80s is also an acceptable option. CALLBACKS will be held July 21st from 6- 10 pm, with a TBA callback on July 22nd from 6- 10 pm (*callbacks by invitation only.) REHEARSAL DATES Directors will hold the first cast meeting on August 2nd. Rehearsals will begin August 18th, and typically take place Monday- Thursday evenings, 7- 10 pm and Saturday mornings, 10- 2 pm. There will be a mandatory cue to cue rehearsal on Sunday, October 5th from 12- 8 pm.
