About the project: "The Sound of Music": Winner of five Tony Awards®, The Sound of Music is a timeless tale of hope and family, featuring iconic songs like “Do Re Mi,” “Edelweiss,” and “Climb Every Mountain.” A beloved classic for all generations. "A Christmas Carol": 25th Anniversary Production! Intergenerational veterans from past productions (including Brad Wages as Scrooge) join with new cast members to tell Dickens’ story of redemption and rebirth. Additional info: Audition requirements: - Please familiarize yourself with the show(s) you are interested in before auditioning. - Contemporary or Contemporary/Comedic Monologue: 60 seconds max. (memorized or read) - Sing 16 to 24 bars of a Pop, Rock, Contemporary Broadway, or Classic Broadway song: 60 seconds max. - Have an additional 16-24 bars of a different song to sing, if asked. - Please bring legible sheet music in your key. You are required to sing with live accompaniment. No A CAPELLA singing or recorded tracks; an accompanist will be provided. - Come dressed (or prepared to change quickly) for a dance audition. - PLEASE COME to your appointment EARLY.
