About the play: This charming Christmas tale, more beloved in its day than A Christmas Carol, has all the wit and humor of a classic Dickens story - bubbling with music, song and fairy-tale magic and let's not forget: a singing Cricket! Additional information: PERFORMANCE Dates: Nov 28 - Dec 21 (Thurs & Fri at 8pm; 1st & 3rd Sat at 2pm, 2nd & 4th Sat at 8pm; Sun at 2pm). PERFORMANCE VENUE: Vancouver. CALLBACKS: Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17, 7:00 – 10:00 pm. AUDITION VENUE: Vancouver. DEADLINE TO APPLY: noon Friday, July 11. NOTE: This is a non-union production with the option to cast one union member on an amateur contract. Please indicate if you have any union affiliations. REHEARSALS will be starting Saturday October 11th, and will be on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, 6:00 – 10:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
