About the project: THE STORY: Steve and Marty Martin are down to their last tissue box at their struggling pet funeral home, “A Nice Farm Upstate with Plenty of Room to Run Around.” Business is dead—and not in the good way—until a fabulously wealthy, delightfully unhinged old lady shows up with a bizarre proposition: a lavish payday to host a lavish funeral for her beloved racehorse, Sir Trots-A-Lot. There’s just one hitch. The horse refuses to die. Now, with their financial future riding on a stubbornly living stallion, and their love lives in shambles, the brothers must keep up appearances, dodge curious neighbors, and pray Sir Trots-A-Lot takes his final trot before they lose everything—including what’s left of their sanity.
