Male Actors Audition for "Peace of Mine" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Casting two male actors for "Peace of Mine" film. More details are below. About the project: A dance film that follows a young, queer boy navigating a world that doesn't quite understand him. Rate: Non-Union. Unpaid, but demo reel material, photos, IMDB credit, a reference letter and food on set will be provided. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) August 13-15. Asian (Filipino preferred but open) - Traditional, playful, bonded with each other — they don’t intentionally exclude their younger brother, but represent the “norm” he feels distant from. Must be comfortable with physical activity (e.g., playing basketball). - Dance experience required.
Asian (Filipino preferred) - Warm but emotionally reserved. A father who loves his kids but struggles to understand his youngest. Appears in a few brief but meaningful scenes. - No dialogue - dance experience not required but may be preferred.
