"Dead Air" musical is looking for performers. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: See the attachment for details. Auditioning is as simple as pointing a camera at your face and reading the script! Audition Information Auditions should be submitted online by July 10th. Auditions should be in audio or video format, with you reading one section pertaining to the character(s) you're interested in. If cast, you'll have a script in hand and will be voice acting (even if you don't have experience, the directors will teach you some basics!). You'll be walking back and forth between the mic, bringing your character to life with your voice! If interested, please apply.

(Lead) An intelligent and quiet detective. The protagonist from which the viewpoint of the story is narrated. Grew up a fan of the radio station in its heyday and is ecstatic to be interviewed. Almost became a radio DJ.
(Major) The sly, quick-to-anger and charismatic host. Charming, and sometimes vulnerable. Victoria clings to fame.
(Major) The sharp and ambitious producer. Marjorie clings to success and relevancy.
(Major) The aging sound technician who has grown bitter about fading into the background. Lou clings to past glory like a curse.
(Major) Victoria’s young understudy and protégé, eager for his big break. Victim.
(Minor) The nervous, geeky, and far too fast-speaking station archivist. Frankie clings to potential.
(Minor) Victoria’s estranged daughter, who shows up unexpectedly with simmering resentment. A hateful chip off the old block.
(Minor) A shy, dorky person who tries to be as small as possible. They’re the latecomer to the case with some key information.
(Minor) Detective Calwyn’s supervisor. They are orderly and supportive of their comrades. They try their best to ensure plenty of opportunity for someone to prove themself.
