Professional Casting for a Short Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for a short film. More details are below. About the project: "A traditional Asian mom faces business failure and problematic consequences caused by making an unintentional mistake coming from cultural differences and misunderstandings with her restaurant customer while running her newly opened restaurant." Rate: Non union. Volunteer. Food and beverage is on them as a gratuity. Additional information: Needs to be comfortable in front of camera; a bit of acting experience is a plus. Need to be willing/able to travel as far as Vancouver to White Rock area. Main shooting location: Surrey area. Should have flexible availability. When applying, please submit a head shot, resume and a short intro video. Only the ones who gets selected for the first document run through will be contacted for an online audition/interview.

Protagonist. Main role. Mom. Preferred actress looking or in their 50s (if not, special effect make up can be applied "cannot be allergic to latex"). No need to speak perfect English! Looking for an actress who can either mimic slight Korean accent or have it. Hair should not be too long (prefer short-mid hair).
Main role. Daughter. Prefer actress in their early 20s, or look like in 20s. Should speak fluent English with no accent. Prefer Korean actress or looks "Korean".
"Influencer" like personality is a plus.
Supporting, boyfriend. Non-Asian preferred, but not restricted.
