About the project: Logline: A timid patient awaits the results of his surgery while the hospital around him morphs into a surreal nightmare, forcing him to fight for his life against inhumane forces. Rate: Jake and Mysterio will be paid $100/day, The doctor is unpaid, all will receive, meals, credit and copies of the film. Additional info: Shoot Dates: August 15th - 20th; Shoot Location: Greater Austin Area. Naive, anxious, and good-willing. Jake is worried about his own health. His worry sometimes blinds his better judgment. He is lost in an unfamiliar space and navigates it with unease and near panic.
A character with a wide range of emotions, thoughts, and actions — from wholesome and nurturing to cold and combative. "The Nurse" is a recurring chaos. Note: Will play multiple characters. May need intimacy.
Malicious, obtuse, and gleeful. Dr. Mullens is Jake’s doctor and captor. He appears as an all-knowing force but is more unaware than he realizes. He enjoys the chaotic nature of his environment.
