Seeking Cast for "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"
Auditions for "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". Actors wanted. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: "An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box." Additional info: Callbacks: Thursday, July 17, 6-9pm. Rehearsals will begin August 24 and are tentatively Fridays and Sundays. This is a fast rehearsal process. There can be no conflicts once they hit October. Show dates: October 17-19 & 24-26, 2025. If you are interested, please apply.
