Singers Sought for "Matilda the Musical" Show

The company is holding auditions for Roald Dahl’s "Matilda the Musical" and looking for performers, please see the details below ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Matilda is an extraordinary girl with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind whose talents are constantly belittled by her cruel parents and headmistress. Dreaming of a better life for herself, she dares to take a stand against these oppressive forces and takes her destiny into her own hands. Additional info: Performances Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm; Saturday November 1, 2025 @ 8pm Sunday November 2, 2025 @ 2pm Friday November 7, 2025 @ 8pm Saturday November 8, 2025 @ 8pm Sunday November 9, 2025 @ 2pm Friday November 14, 2025 @ 8pm Saturday November 15, 2025 @ 2pm (sensory-friendly performance) & 8pm Rehearsals will begin the week of August 3, 2025 and run Sunday afternoons, Tuesday and Thursday evenings through October 22, 2025. Tech Week starts Sunday October 26, 2025 and all actors will be expected to attend rehearsals every night of tech week. Please prepare 1 song, 16-32 bars (about 1 minute); please bring sheet music in proper key (no acapella) Please do not sing a song from the show. There will be a dance call during each hour-long audition slot, please dress accordingly. A video of the dance audition will be sent to all auditioners ahead of time. Please apply if interested.
