Additional information: Performers MUST be able to rehearse/perform in Toronto. Directors encourage submissions from artists with a broad range of backgrounds including, but not limited to race, ethnicity, indigeneity, gender, body type, and sexuality. He/him. Outwardly apathetic, but inwardly burdened by guilt and a sense of responsibility for his actions.
Represents the inability to save others and the weight of unseen consequences.
He/him. A birdwatcher who is afriad of not being able to protect things outside of his control.
She/her. Neurotic and feeling trapped, she grapples with wanting more in life and the guilt associated with it.
She/her. Appears outwardly over everything, but still carries a sense of guilt.
She/her. Gets caught up in things and feels guilty about wishing ill on others.
Serves as a representation of the teen's shared guilt.
Another symbol of the teens shared guilt and the consequences of their actions.
The play's title and setting, it also represents the collective guilt and the oppressive atmosphere the teens are trapped in.
She/her. A continual presence throughout the show. The girl other teens grieve over.
