Moving backwards in time, he revisits how he got to where he’s at, his estranged closest friends Charlie and Mary, his first ex-wife and his future ex-wife, and how he abandoned himself as an artist. Sondheim’s semi-autobiographical musical that is a true American masterwork. Rate: SPT $538 weekly minimum (SPT 5) Additional info: PREPARATION Please prepare a contemporary monologue reflecting range, language and vulnerability as well as a 32-bar cut of a Sondheim song.
