Performers for Theatre Audition "Murdered to Death"
Theatre announces open auditions opportunities for "Murdered to Death". Actors needed. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the breakdown below. About the project: This hilarious spoof of the best of Agatha Christie traditions is set in a country manor house in the 1930s, with an assembled cast of characters guaranteed to delight. There’s Bunting, the butler; an English Colonel with the prerequisite stiff upper lip; a shady French art dealer and his moll; the bumbling local inspector and a well-meaning local sleuth who seems to attract murder wherever she goes. They’re all here, and all caught up in the side-splitting antics which follow the mysterious death of the house’s owner. It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn’t finished yet. Will the killer be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom, or will the audience die laughing first? Rate: This is a non-paid opportunity. Additional info: No experience is necessary. Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required. What to Prepare: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Rehearsals: The exact rehearsal schedule is to be determined, but rehearsals are usually 2-3 days per week, mostly weekday nights, but there may be rehearsals on Saturdays in the daytime and/or Sundays in the evening.
