Open Roles in "Sound and Steppes" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for actors/non-actors for a film pre-selected at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival "Sound and Steppes". More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: Friends of mixed-faith and feelings come together in dance and drift apart to the tune of a tabla player. Rate: Non-union, non remunerated. (Food provided). Additional information: Location: Montreal, QC. Shoot Dates: July 12th and July 13th, 2025. When applying, please submit head shot and portfolio if available.

East-Asian. Experience in any form of traditional dance preferred, but not required.
South-Asian Female. Experience in any form of Indian traditional dance preferred, but not required.
Experience playing tabla required, any skill level.
South-Asian Females & East-Asian Males. No experience in dance required. Looking for several supporting characters with minor speaking roles.
