Acting Audition for "Priority Mail" Film

(Lead). Transmasc, Non-Binary, or Gender Non-Conforming. A guarded but witty teen with a sarcastic streak and a lot of unresolved questions. Raised in foster care, Polo’s journey is one of quiet courage, awkward encounters, and the hope for something real. Must be comfortable with comedic and dramatic material. Additionally, the character will have a canine companion for most of the film. The dog is a trained performer and will be working with two trainers, but comfort with animals is a must.

(Supporting). Polo’s best (and only) friend. A chaotic genius with a flair for drama and zero impulse control. Margot is the mastermind behind Polo’s plan, equal parts tech-savvy sleuth and absolute menace. Fiercely loyal and weird in all the best ways. Strong comedic timing and improv skills a plus.

(Supporting). Polo's biological father, he's a hardworking auto shop owner with a grizzled exterior, but a soft spot for his dog Pepe. Note: The role involves Julien emotionally reuniting with his lost dog. The dog will be a trained performer working with two trainers, but being comfortable with dogs is a must.

(Supporting). Julien’s wife. Loving, but distracted and addicted to Candy Crush. She completely misinterprets Polo’s arrival, leading to an unexpectedly wholesome ending. Has the warmth of a tía. Comedic instincts a plus.

(Supporting). A stylish neighborhood mom caught mid-yoga session. Breezy and well-meaning with a slight passive-aggressive edge. She helps Polo unknowingly get one step closer to his dad.
