Actors needed for production of "Treasure Island". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. Additional info: TREASURE ISLAND will be a three-part audition that will include singing, dancing/fight choreography, and acting. Non-singers welcome, and even if you don't consider yourself a dancer, directors highly encourage you to come out and audition. Callbacks will be held July 19th, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. The quirky, fun-loving cook on the Hispaniola who has a dastardly dark side. A complex and captivating character who is considered an anti-hero. Must be willing to sing solo and/or ensemble.

Billy BonesMale40-89 y.o.All ethnicities

The new visitor at the Benbow Inn. He is characterized by his heavy drinking, fear of other pirates, and his eccentric behavior, often seen in his boisterous singing and shouting. He is also known for his paranoid tendencies and his superstitious belief in the Black Spot, a pirate warning of death. Must be willing to sing solo and/or ensemble.

Calm, practical, and morally upright character, embodying the virtues of reason and compassion. He is a doctor and magistrate, representing the steadier aspects of society contrasted with the adventurous nature of the treasure hunt. Ensemble singing.

The narrator of the story; a man who has been driven to madness by his prolonged isolation on the island. He displays a wild appearance, a disjointed way of speaking, and a general lack of conformity to social norms.
