Brick's older brother. Thinks he's smarter than he is, has definite designs on cutting Brick and Maggie out of any inheritance.
Gooper's wife, pregnant with her sixth child, comes from a moneyed background, conniving and superior. Genuinely loves her husband and children.
Brick's mother, 60s-70s. Busybody, loves gossip and secrets, is prone to melodrama and hysterics when dealing with Big Daddy. Fawns over her son Brick, doesn't take Maggie seriously.
Brick's father, plantation millionaire, 60s-70s. Crass, loud, but is very good at what he does. Dearly loves his son and is deeply suspicious of the activity surrounding his illness.
