Theater Casting Call for "The 39 Steps" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for production of "The 39 Steps". More details are below. Rate: Theater is a volunteer organization and cannot engage Equity performers. Additional information: Performance Dates: January 30th, 31st, February 1st, February 6th, 7th, 8th 2026. Time: 7:00 – 10:00 pm (last auditions start no later than 9:30 pm). Location: Guelph. Recorded submissions: Will be received anytime between now and June 25th (Use of an off-camera reader is fine). Call-Backs (if required): TBA. The auditions process will be as follows: Arrive to the front door at 65 Cambridge anytime between 7 - 9:30 to leave sufficient time to be finished by 10 pm. Please download and print (if possible) the sides of the character(s) you are interested in and read them ahead of time. Paper copies of these sides will also be provided at the audition. No memorization is expected; cold reads are sufficient. No monologues. You will be required to complete a google form for your availability for rehearsals and your photos will be taken at the audition. Readings may be recorded to help with the audition process. The rehearsal period will start early October with table readings only. Getting on our feet in November, getting up to speed in December (with a healthy break over holidays).
