About the project: Pitch: Charlie, Jacob's grandfather, tells him every night about his life as a monster hunter. He has a flask that helps him see the monsters. One night when Charlie disappears, Jacob discovers he forgot his vial. Jacob must give it back to him because his grandfather's life depends on it. He decides to leave to find Charlie who is in great danger. Rate: This project is voluntary (unpaid but supported). Additional information: The filming will take place on the weekends of August 9-10 and/or August 16-17 in Saint Columban (QC) or Saint-Jérôme (QC). Lead role. Grandfather. He suffers from schizophrenia. To fight his illness, he tells stories to his grandson Jacob. He is compassionate, kind and thoughtful. He doesn't want to hurt his grandson about reality, so he makes up that he's a watch hunter.
Supporting role. Cold and distant because she worries every day about Charlie. She wants to tell Jacob the truth, but Charlie is stopping her. She remains protective of Jacob, she doesn’t like to lie so the situation doesn’t make her comfortable. She's the person who has the weight on her shoulders to make everything work, but when Charlie disappears, her fear prevents her from reasoning as she wants.
