About the project: Logline: A young woman’s emotions are meeting inside her head to plan the events of her day. Additional info: A non union casting call. Accepting digital auditions. Casting 1 to 3 actors to fill the roles of the emotions. Shooting dates: Monday 6/23/25 from 9am-7pm & Tuesday 6/24/25 from 9am-7pm. A young woman who struggles with negative emotions but tries to stay optimistic to get through each day.
A neurotic, high-functioning presence who always seems two steps ahead of disaster, vibrating with nervous energy and an intense need to keep everything under control.
Sapping Marie’s motivation and sense of self-worth. Sarcastic and tired, inclined to suggest “self-care” activities that are actually harmful thoughts that hold Marie back.
Angry, explosive, fueled by pain, and craves destruction. Ultimately wants to protect Marie by lashing out and acting impulsively.
Smart, bright, and upbeat, this underdog faces Marie’s negative emotions and believes in her even when things look bad. She pushes Marie to not give up.
Steady, calm, and speaks gently but with strength. Gives Marie unwavering support, especially when she is at her lowest.
The voice of reason. Quiet, observant, compassionate. Cares about others. Always tries to understand and validate Marie’s feelings. Reminds the group of the importance of being kind.
