The aunt of Jay, she plays a motherly figure to Jay in the film, despite her complicated relationship with Jay's actual mother. As Grandad rapidly approaches his death, we watch as she tries her best to keep things together while navigating family turmoil amongst her siblings. An ideal candidate for this role would be able to cover a full spectrum of emotions.
80s. Despite being the core of the family, this is a man that's, without a doubt, made mistakes in the past. Though he has a smile that can light up a room, it's clear something weighs him down behind the twinkle of his eyes. Despite being a man who says very few words, he carries a warmth that can be felt instantly. An ideal candidate for this role would be able to speak with their eyes. Acting experience required.
