About the project: "Amy & Red" is a tender, visually poetic short film that follows the lifelong journey of Amy, an 8-year-old girl whose world is shattered by the death of her beloved grandfather. Left with only a parting gifta bright red balloon named Red Amy finds solace in its silent companionship. As she grows, Red becomes her confidant, her joy, and her escape, but the innocence of childhood fades, and with it, their bond drifts into the background. Years pass, and Red, forgotten and purposeless, waits quietly. But life comes full circle. As Amy faces the joys and trials of motherhood, she rediscovers Red, and with him, the unspoken strength she's always carried. A story of love, loss, and healing, "Amy & Red" is a heartwarming meditation on memory, growing up, and the enduring power of connection. Rate: Union Non-Union welcome. No remuneration.
