About the project: Based on a true story from 1915, Pearl Curran, a bored housewife, fakes a writing partnership with a ghost to have a career as a professional author. Rate: $250/day (Short Film) + Gas Compensation Non-Union Additional info: SHOOT DATES: July 12th and 13th (Two 8 Hour Days) with one paid rehearsal day in June (date to be determined based on cast availability). Casper is an academic and newspaperman for the St. Louis Globe at the turn of the 20th century. He goes to investigate Pearl Curran (a self-proclaimed ghost translator) with the deeper intention of having the ghost she summons speak to his dead son. Role contains both dramatic and comedic elements.
