"The Shark Is Broken" Young and ambitious.
"The Shark Is Broken" Trying to keep the peace.
"The Shark Is Broken" Veteran actor.
"Thanksgiving Play" High school drama teacher always pushing the envelope in potentially problematic ways. Earnest about Theatre and proving herself.
"Thanksgiving Play" Yoga practitioner/actor. Politically correct to a Fault. Confident guy everyone loves, but his PC logic takes things in strange directions.
"Thanksgiving Play" Brunette. Could’ve been considered “ethnically ambiguous” in 1950s movies. Guileless, not bright.
"Thanksgiving Play" The academic. Awkward elementary school history teacher with dramatic aspirations but not experience.
"Small Mouth Sounds" Spiritual and bejeweled sex therapist for young adults. Pleasure focused, with a simmering internal rage.
"Small Mouth Sounds" Joan’s partner. Top editor for O magazine. Intense, controlled. Soft spot is Joan. Recent cancer diagnosis is shattering her careful control.
"Small Mouth Sounds" A lot. Makes sounds even when she’s meant to be quiet–her clothing, her jewelry, her personality. Ex-child star & beauty pageant competitor. Recently left her boyfriend, is devastated.
"Small Mouth Sounds" Chronically, devastatingly unlucky. Nearly burned down the house of the woman who cheated on him (it was the last straw) and diverted to new age spiritual practice instead.
"Small Mouth Sounds" Southeast Asian heritage. Eternally fit, youthful. Yoga instructor married to an ex-student. Has dabbled with many yoga students in the past. Will continue to do so, even in his marriage.
"Small Mouth Sounds" Finnish pastor at a small Lutheran church. His son died at 6 after an illness. Seeking answers he cannot find in his church. Overestimates his grasp of English.
