About the project: After being dismissed from her job at the Museum of Natural History for pursuing "fantasy, Halee Yates, a determined folklorist on the edge of emotional collapse, sets out alone into Washington's Olympic Wilderness to prove the existence of Vanya a legendary faerle said to appear only during a rare Blue Moon. Armed with her camera, compass, and a deep need for validation, Halee's descent into the the forbidden forest becomes a haunting confrontation with her inner demons, past traumas, and fractured identity. As night falls and the forest grows otherworldly, eerie phenomena escalate: whispers in the dark, glimpses of her mother, and a doppelgänger taunting her sanity. Caught between myth and madness, Halee stumbles upon the truth-not only about Vanya, but about herself. In a final, luminous revelation, she's offered an impossible choice: return to a life that never understood her surrender to the realm of Tainted Souls and be reborn.
