11 day of shooting in Calgary. Ophelia's Mom is a sweet woman whose only goal in life is to give her daughters the life she deserves. Sadly that means sending her youngest daughter to live with her Aunt while the others remained home to take care of her.
1 day of shooting in Calgary. Amber's Grandma is a warm and loving older woman who lives peacefully with her husband, who she's been married to for years. She loves her granddaughter, Amber, even though she questions some of Amber's choices.
1 day of shooting in Calgary). Amber's Grandpa is an older, whimsical, light-hearted man who, despite his older age has managed to find some peace and purpose in life. His only goal now is to pass on this knowledge, knowledge that took him decades to gather.
(2 day of shooting in Calgary). Light skin tone. Hair: Dark brown; curly. Eyes: Blue. While June's sister definitely grew and matured from the teen that ran. away from home after a tragic accident, she still maintains the same wisdom and maturity that she gained while living at home. However, nowadays, her experiences and trauma often lead her to have a little bit more of a reclusive personality.
(1 day of shooting in Calgary). Light skin tone. Hair: Dark brown; curly. Content Warning: Portrayal of domestic violence; must be comfortable with fake blood. June's Mom is one of the most complex characters in this film. June's Mom has suffered for years, struggling with abuse from her husband, but has also had to witness the violence towards her children. All of this had definitely left June's Mom terrified and she still feels attached to her husband, despite everything.
(1 day of shooting in Calgary). Faith's Dad may seem cold on the outside, he is clearly dismissive of Faith's interests in conspiracies and is quick to anger regarding this, all of this is just out of care for his daughter. However, he is quick to make impulsive choices and ends up with his daughter leaving his life.
1 day of shooting in Calgary. Uncle Karl is Faith's well-loved uncle. While he may be a bit over energetic for his age, all it really means is that he cares about making his niece's face light up more brightly. However, the source of his energy isn't always good, and he definitely hides some skeletons in his closet.
(6-7 days of shooting in Linden and Calgary. Aunt Jordan is the most loving and warm guardian Ophelia could have asked for. And their relationship is a two-way street, Aunt Jordan also finds a new level of joy and fulfillment having Ophelia in her life. However, these powerful feelings she has does lead to her taking any necessary means to keep her niece safe.
1 day of shooting in Calgary. Stunts: Tackling somebody. No dialogue. This police officer is an older more experienced officer; he's been called to handle a situation at an urban home with his partner.
3-4 days of shooting in Linden. Some cult members must be able to do stunts. People from Linden are encouraged to apply These people are all members of a quite sadistic cult based in the middle of nowhere Alberta. Their only goal is to keep the cult and their strange rituals alive, no matter what.
