Grease brings the Pink Ladies and T-Birds to life in this action packed, rock-n-roll musical. Featuring hit songs like “Summer Nights”, “Beauty School Drop-Out”, “Greased Lightning”, “Hopelessly Devoted to You”, and “We Go Together”, this beloved musical is a celebration of teen spirit. Grease is still the word! Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: The leader of the Burger Palace Boys (T-Birds). Strong & confident, with an air of cool, easygoing charm.
Vocal Range: Soprano Character Description: Danny's love interest. New girl in town. Sweet, wholesome, naïve, cute, like Sandra Dee of the "Gidget" movies.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: Leader of the Pink Ladies. She is tough, sarcastic, outspoken, and vulnerable.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: A typical cheerleader; attractive, athletic, sure-of-herself, but can be given to bursts of disconcerting enthusiasm. She's a bit of a pain and unpopular with the Pink Ladies. Baton skills are a plus, but not a necessity for this role.
Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: The "anything-for-a-laugh" type. A clown who enjoys winding people up, he is full of mischief and is always dreaming up half-baked schemes and ideas.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: The "beauty" of the Pink Ladies. Pretty, looks older than the other girls, but betrays her real age when she opens her mouth. Tries to act sophisticated.
Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: Youngest of the guys. Boyish, open, with a disarming smile and a hero-worshipping attitude toward the other guys. Guitar skills are a plus, but not a necessity for this role.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: A dreamer. Good-natured and dumb. Heavily made-up, fussy about her appearance- particularly her hair. She can't wait to finish high school so she can be a beautician.
Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: Second-in-command of the Burger Palace Boys. Tough-looking, tattooed, surly, avoids any show of softness. Has an off-beat sense of humor.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: Funny, loud, compulsive eater, and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. Loud and pushy with the girls, but shy with boys.
Vocal Range: Baritone Character Description: A braggart and wheeler-dealer who thinks he's a real lady-killer.
Vocal Range: Flexible Character Description: A no-nonsense, serious, loud English teacher.
Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: The class valedictorian; physically awkward, with weak eyes and a high-pitched voice. He's a typical 'apple-polisher' - both smug and pompous, but gullible.
Vocal Range: Alto Character Description: The best dancer at St. Bernadette's; a loud mouth, she wins the dancing competition with Danny.
Vocal Range: Tenor Character Description: All-American, rock-star "greaser" student at Rydell High, whose real name is Clarence.
Vocal Range: Flexible Character Description: A typical "teen audience" radio disc jockey. Slick, egotistical, fast-talking. A veteran "greaser."
