Auditions for the Indiana Premier of "American Son". In need of cast. See the details below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: A Florida police station in the middle of the night; a mother searching for her missing teenage son. AMERICAN SON is a gripping tale of two parents caught in our national divide, with their worst fears hanging in the balance. This 90-minute drama explores issues – maternal, paternal, marital, and societal – while tackling the subtle and not-so-subtle racial dynamics in American culture. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: You do NOT need to prepare a monologue but are welcome to perform one if you would like. Auditions will consist of reading from the script. Headshots and resumes are welcome but not mandatory. Directors will have audition paperwork for you to complete upon arrival. Please bring any schedule conflicts you might have. Rehearsals will take place Monday through Thursday starting June 16th, from 7-9pm each evening.
