"Avenue Q" Musical Needs Talent
Audition notice for "Avenue Q" show. Looking for cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Come out and audition for the hilarious and heartfelt Avenue Q — a Tony Award-winning musical that’s a bit like Sesame Street… but strictly for grown-ups. Additional info: Please note: Avenue Q contains adult themes, language, and humor. Please bring a (clean) sock! You’ll use it as a puppet during your audition. Improvisation will be part of the process. Video submissions are accepted for initial auditions. Deadline: June 16th Music: Prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Songs from Avenue Q are welcome but not required. If singing something else, bring sheet music or a backing track. Show dates: September 19th – October 5th. Please apply to receive audition materials and secure your spot (Sunday, June 15th or Monday, June 16th at 6:30 PM).
