Olivia, a struggling writer estranged from her family, returns home for her grandmother’s funeral. Amidst the emotional chaos and strained relationships, she begins seeing visions of a young woman, Antonia, reflected only in the bedroom mirror—a desperate spirit from the past hiding a deep secret. As Olivia unravels Antonia’s story, she comes to see parallels in their lives unwanted pregnancies and family pressure. Through their shared experience, Olivia finds the courage to stand up for her own path, inspiring her emotionally burdened mother to do the same. Reflection is supernatural drama that explores the generational cost of silence, and the liberation found in reclaiming one’s voice. A sensitive and empathetic young woman. She grew up in the 1960s in a Catholic, conservative household, but never truly connected with the beliefs. She has always felt like she doesn’t have a say in her own life choices and often feels controlled by her parents. She runaway after revealing she got pregnant outside of the marriage. In the future, she grows into a strong and resilient woman who follows her own path and eventually becomes the matriarch of her family.
A strong-willed who has always felt misunderstood within her family. She doesn’t have a great relationship with her mother. As the oldest sibling, her mother assigned her the role of caregiver for her younger brothers. Her life goal is to become a successful writer, so she decided to leave home to study. Ever since then, she has grown distant from her family. Her biggest fear is not living life to the fullest, as she feels immense pressure not to disappoint her mother.
A direct and resilient woman—a single mother. Ever since she was a child, she’s been the one taking care of everyone. Her entire life has been focused on doing what’s right for the family, often putting her own needs aside. She values functionality and efficiency above all else. Her mother is her biggest hero; She struggles to communicate her feelings and need.
An empathetic and joyful man. He is often the mediator in family discussions and is the middle brother. He’s not used to expressing negative emotions; when he’s struggling, he tends to be a bit passive-aggressive, but he never cries or shows anger. He enjoys taking care of his nieces and nephews.
He is smart and logical, but he often has trouble reading social cues. He is academically focused and believes he is better than everyone else. He has a big ego. His only problem is that he depends too much on his mother’s approval; he wants her to feel proud of him. His biggest dream is to buy a house for his mom in the future.
