Casting Call for "Someone Like You" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking two actors for a student film touching on the topic of an unhealthy secret relationship between a transgender man and a cisgender man. More details are bellow. About the project: This is a passion project written and directed by a transgender man based on his own experience. Rate: Unpaid/Nonunion (will provide meal, copy, and credit). Additional information: Filming Date: June 11th. Location: Vancouver, BC. When applying, please submit head shots and demo reels.

A transgender man with an anxious attachment disorder who has settled into a relationship with an older man who does not feel comfortable being open about their relationship because he's insecure about his sexuality. He allows himself to be walked over for the sake of not being alone and because he was raised a people pleaser, but he's reached his breaking point six months into his relationship.
A cisgender man with a passive and indifferent attitude towards life who is in a relationship with a transgender man. He does not feel comfortable being open about their relationship because he's insecure about his sexuality and the societal judgement that comes from being in an openly queer relationship.
