8 roles
Played Sherlock Holmes in London for 35 years. Retired and bought a house in Connecticut, where he lives with his mother. He is still connected to the New York theatre scene and has many friends up to his house for parties and get-togethers. He continues to have an inquisitive mind. (C, E, F, L, S)
Needs to appear at least 20 years older than her son) Lives with her son William in his house in Connecticut. A little dim-witted but she can be quite sly herself when she needs to be. (C, E)
Also an actor. Calls himself William’s best friend. He and his wife Madge cut quite a rug whenever they are together, especially at parties. He is willing to do almost anything for his friend. (C, E, F, K, L, S)
Also an actor. If Felix is around, so is his wife Madge. Together they are the life of any party. She also keeps the confidence of whatever she hears (until she doesn’t that is). (C, E)
Another actor. The youngster of the male set. Just starting out in the business. Takes the lead well from the other more seasoned actors in the room. (C, E)
Another actor and the young ingenue. She has a thing for Simon but she has a dark past that we find out about later in the play. (C, E)
Although typically female, this part could be cast as a male role. Appears somewhat off her game in the beginning, but you become to realize that she is just playing a role also (she really wanted to be an actor). (C, L)
Daria is a CRITIC and she means business when reviewing the acting crowd. Perhaps this is why many at the party loathe her and her presence at the party. She already has preconceived notions about those in attendance and doesn’t hesitate to tell them to their face. (C, E, F, K, L, S)
