(Leading Role) Seung-Yeon is a quiet, intense, and emotionally guarded young woman. Shaped by grief and raised in silence. After the sudden death of her father, she devotes her life to boxing, channeling her pain into discipline and physical endurance. Beneath her tough exterior is a daughter who never got closure. She’s observant, emotionally complex, and driven by a quiet rage that only grows when she discovers the truth behind her father’s death.
Lee Tae-Young is a complex man. Charismatic, composed, and deeply conflicted. Once a close friend and sparring partner of Seung-Yeon’s late father, he becomes her mentor after the tragedy, stepping in as a surrogate figure. He teaches her how to fight, how to endure, how to keep silent. But underneath his measured presence is a man haunted by guilt, secrets, and choices that can’t be undone.
The Janitor is a quiet, worn-down figure who has become part of the gym’s bones. He’s been there longer than anyone can remember. Mopping floors, fixing broken lights, locking up after closing. With grey, thinning hair, a hunched back, and navy overalls marked by time, he moves slowly but watches everything.
Kim Youn-Sik is the devoted single father of Seung-Yeon. Once a feared enforcer in a powerful crime syndicate, he walked away from that life to protect his daughter and give her a chance at peace. Stoic, strong, and quietly affectionate, Youn-Sik carries the burden of his past in silence, always fearing it would one day find her. That fear becomes reality when his closest friend, Lee Tae-Young, betrays him—murdering him as a consequence of his decision to leave the gang.
