About the project: Painting comes easy to Amelia but after nightmares persist, a doctors help may do more harm than good. Would you rather have nightmares or be in one? “Colour” is a drama/comedy following a young painter struggling with her mental health. This is a highly visual story, full of original art! A 25-year-old painter, typically adorned in bright colours and eclectic pieces of clothing. She struggles with depression and nightmares that haunt her. Coming from a traditional family, she treads her own path as a creative. Amelia is a woman of colour with tan skin and long, wavy-curly hair.
A 23-year-old painter and artist, she is disabled and comes from a loving family that encourages her wild spirit. She is the happy-go-lucky, optimistic, yet a bit aloof, best friend to Amelia. Willow’s dream is to become a famous painter, she is a maximalist with a more is more attitude.
The Doctor makes one appearance, giving Amelia her prescription, he is professional.
