About the project: Logline: When two video rental store employees discover an unmarked tape in their return box, they find themselves both audience and subject in a sinister game with an anonymous filmmaker. Rate: Non paid. Additional info: Non union. Sides will be provided via email a few days before auditions and in person. Samantha is a spiritually lost 20-something who clings to her part-time job and the current (yet fleeting) trends to push off the existentialist nightmare that is the incoming millennium. Headstrong and strait-laced, she instinctually takes the reins when confronted with a situation she is unable to explain.
Trevor is a prime example of the punk rock, armchair anarchist personalities that skyrocketed in the late 90's. Trevor is driven by his desire for importance but burdened with a lack of purpose as he is forced into an eerie situation that challenges his apathetic nature.
