Mia's husband. He is a dedicated but more relaxed corporate worker, who values balancing work and personal life. He is the one who has more time to take care of the home, but isn't the best at it. Owen loves his wife and wants to take care of her, but he is also somewhat paternalistic and controlling when it comes to her diabetes management. He is sometimes so focused on her health and medical control, that he neglects his wife's emotional needs.
