Theater Casting Call for "The Ladies Foursome" Play
Seeking female performers for production of "The Ladies Foursome". More details are below. About the play: Norm Foster, one of Canada’s most prolific playwrights, sets this script on a golf course. It follows four ladies while they play a round of golf to honour their friend Catherine, who had unexpectedly passed away. Margo, Tate and Connie had been playing golf with her for the last 14 years. They are joined by Dory, an old friend of Catherine’s who they had never met, until the funeral the previous day. Over the course of the 18 holes, there is laughter and tears, as stories are shared, secrets are revealed, sex lives are examined, families, friendships and love are explored. All with the playwright’s usual comedic and charming wit. Additional information: All four actors will be required for most rehearsals as all four are in every scene. No scheduled appointments – first come, first served. Expect to possibly stay for the entire audition time as actors may read for a variety of roles and with various other actors.
