Casting Call for "Chromatics" Film

A scholarship student and outsider thrown into the overwhelming chaos of Chromatics—an elite school that worships originality but thrives on conformity. Quietly rebellious, thoughtful, and observant. UNO doesn’t fit in– without a wealthy family or eccentricity to homogenize with the rest of the school– UNO doesn’t fight to fit in either, and likes to go against the grain to fight for what’s right. Must be able to convey internal conflict and transformation with subtlety.

A flamboyant, cult-leader-esque guide to the school. Think “Willy Wonka meets Hunger Games meets Effie Trinket (Hunger Games) meets Dead Poets Society.” They speak in mantras, poetry, and metaphors, and believe in "free expression"—even when it's ironically forced. Should have theatrical training or strong improvisation skills. Must command a room with charisma and eccentricity.

A sweaty administrator trying to keep the school's illusion intact. He's corporate, anxious, and constantly on edge about donors and public image. All his lines feel like sales pitches masked as pep talks. Must be able to oscillate between fake cheer and nervous breakdown.

A wealthy, sharply dressed art investor with sharp eyes and colder intentions. The type who sees student work as a product, not an expression.

An intimidating, perfection-obsessed figure who rules the classroom like a high-fashion dictator. Cuts down student work with surgical precision and dramatic flair. Think Miranda Priestly crossed with a performance art curator. Needs strong comedic timing and the ability to deliver lines with deadpan sarcasm and grandeur.

Additional Character. Day Player. Assertive, status-conscious, and slightly frantic. A high-society buyer who treats art like high-end product shopping. Looking for: An expressive actor who can switch from composed to demanding in an instant.

Additional Character. Eccentric and energetic, someone who yells “Someone brand that!” at the end of the show. Must have strong voice delivery and confidence to perform in a high-energy climax. Note: Featured line, great for someone with character flair and physical presence.
