About the project: The project is for a Crown Corporation Promotional Video. Rate: $850 for use in perpetuity including web and television Additional info: Non-Union Shoot / Performance Date(s): TBD Shoot / Performance Location(s): Your home VO studio or another voiceover location -No professional booth needed for the demo recording -You will need to be in Vancouver and available for in-person recording week of May 26th -If selected, we will provide a space for the recording If you do not have a home-studio. Clients will be patched in by audio to give notes in real time When applying, please record a voice memo in a quiet space with the following script. 1 take would be most ideal: "This is BC. It is our home. It’s where we’ve raised our families, built our businesses, our communities..... We’re prepared and we’re taking the lead. Investing in renewable resources. In partnerships, in growth, in the boundless possibility as a gateway to the world. Note: Section #1 is meant to sound: deeply emotive, nostalgic, personal, with a serious reflective tone Section #2 is meant to be building with "rallying cry" a sense of urgency and an inspiring tone. Overall directors are looking for less of a "professional voiceover" sound. Voice should be raw, authentic, slightly imperfect, and the passion and emotion should shine through.
