Casting call for short film "The Dream Council". In search of cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: Genre: Dramatic Comedy Logline: A university psychology club that specializes in interpreting students' dreams is thrust into a squabble between estranged best friends whose dreams are telling drastically different stories. Rate: Unpaid, but free food, obviously. Additional info: Shooting date: hopefully the fourth weekend of June. Maybe July, but almost certainly a weekend. If you are interested, please apply.

The leader of the council, the one who really dives into the Freudian aspects of your dreams, and what lies underneath. S/he's doing it for their thesis. Disconcerted at the ever-decreasing number of students coming in and the ever-increasing shallowness of their dreams.
Other psychology students who pitch in when they have a chance. Glorified extras, but you'll be able to improvise your own lines.
At first, hardly anyone's there to get their dreams checked. But as the squabble unfolds more and more students file in as things grow interesting. And who knows, maybe they get their dreams read in the post credits scene too (improvising is key here as well).
