About the project: "Hiking The Tide," a 16mmm neurodivergent coming of age short film, dissecting grief through poetry. The film follows a young man as he journeys through his thoughts and the natural world to reflect on lost love, both romantic and kindred. Rate: Paid position. $200/12hr Additional info: These are non-speaking positions. The roles of Katrina and Friends appear in scenes where the characters speak and interact, but they are unscripted. The role of John’s Grandmother appears only silently. The only sound included in the final film will be John’s voiceover. Shooting in July, exact dates TBD When applying, please include a dramatic contemporary monologue, preferably something emotional and personal to you.
