Singing: Required. Juliet is the perfect 16 year old student. Straight As, head of the student council, community volunteer, everything about Juliet is perfect. Except for one thing, she's madly in love with her best friend Taylor but is terrified that coming out will ruin her perfect persona.
Singing: Required. Taylor is the popular girl in school, cool hair, fun clothes, and a solid B+ average. There's just one problem: she's in love with her best friend Juliet and doesn't know how coming out would affect her social status.
Singing: Required. Leanne is the mother of a teenage daughter (Juliet). She suspects that her daughter may not be straight and attempts to set Juliet up with boys. She cares deeply for her daughter and wants what's best for her, and in her eyes, that includes being in a straight relationship.
Singing: Not required. Faith is the mother of a teenage daughter (Taylor). Faith is the English teacher at Taylor's school and is very comforting to Taylor's best friend Juliet when she is in need.
