The company is holding auditions for “Dial M for Murder” show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: In bright 1950s New York, ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice finds out his wife Margot’s affair with old writer friend Max Halliday. As revenge, he comes up with the perfect murder that will also and him with her large inheritance and includes blackmailing old school friend Lesgate. When the murder goes awry and Margot survives, Tony must engage in a battle of wits against Margot, Mark, and Detective Hubbard to keep Margot in jail and himself out. Luckily, the system is on his side when it comes to women and privilege in this suspenseful thriller. Additional info: Performance Dates: June 27-July 20, 2025 Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm Sundays at 2:00pm Additional matinee on July 5 and July 19 at 2:00 Auditions will consist of a prepared monologue or prepared sides from the play (please see the attachment)

A typically fiery ex-tennis pro forced to give up his sports passion for his rich wife, he misses the thrill of the game. Annoyingly charming and charismatic, his ego loves being the smartest one in the room and usually can’t handle otherwise. *Character shares intimacy (kiss/caress) with Margot.
A frustrated writer who still hasn’t gotten his break yet, he is the Nice Guy next door who let Margot get away and has been regretting it since. Like all writers, he praises cleverness- doubly so since he is a mystery writer- and enjoys a challenge. *Character shares intimacy (kiss/caress) with Margot.
A college-educated man, he uses those smarts and manners to con his way up the social ladder- to very good effect. With a flexible moral compass, he’s willing to do the dirty work that comes with having lots of money that wasn’t passed down to you. *Character has fight scene with Margot.
They are the system. An officer that can follow the clues, even if they get there in a confusing way- and even if the clues were planted. Not above facades when it comes to getting answers. Big fan of questions, this one.
