Auditions for "Titanic" the musical. In need of actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Additional info: Auditioners should prepare 24-32 bars from a contemporary symphonic musical or art song. (Examples include but are not limited to, Theatre works like The Secret Garden, Little Women, Parade, Ragtime, and/or musicals by Claude-Michel Schonberg or Frank Wildhorn; or art songs in the style of Vaughan Williams, Britten, or other similar composers.) Cold reads will be provided at auditions. (Irish & English accents are encouraged but not required). If you sign up for a day and general time, you will be sent a more specific time to be at your audition. Please prepare to come early to complete the form before you are seen (Example: If you sign up for between 7-8 p.m. you may be emailed to show up at 7:05 p.m. or 7:40 p.m.) Callbacks: June 8, time TBD. (Tenor/A2-G4) the ship’s designer and builder. He sailed to observe how well she did on her maiden voyage, constantly noting problems and ways to further perfect her functioning and comfort for passengers and crew alike.
(Baritone/A2-G4) the ship’s owner. The line’s success & reputation matters more to him than anything else, pushes the captain for more speed in order to make headlines with an early arrival in New York.
(Baritone/ B-flat 2 to F4) captain of the Titanic. A fatherly figure with white hair and beard, he commands with deep care for his passengers and encouragement toward his younger officers. He takes the responsibility for all the souls aboard very seriously, and struggles over conflict with Ismay on how best to proceed, 62.
(Baritone/C3-F#4) first officer; a Scotsman, He was Captain Smith’s right hand, and was at the bridge in Smith’s place when the iceberg was sighted. Murdoch made the decisions and gave the orders that sealed Titanic’s fate. He wrestles with horrible guilt at the end. 39.

Young, British and aristocratic, actually born to first class, but eloping to America with her love.
