About the project: SYNOPSIS: A comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games, She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all. What: Bring a recent photo and theatrical résumé. Be prepared to list any definite or possible conflicts on your audition form from May 26 through the run of the play July 11-27, 2025. Please read the script before auditions. If needed, callbacks will be held at a time to be determined. Performance dates: July 11-27, 2025. Specific dates are: July 11-12, 17-20, and 24-27. There will be a brush-up rehearsal and archive photos on July 16.
