SYNOPSIS: Dear Atticus is a melancholic short film set on a rainy afternoon in a quiet coffee shop. Told largely through voiceover and subtle performance, it explores themes of unspoken love, emotional distance, and the quiet ache of being unseen. Rate: This is a volunteer project. All participants will receive: - On-screen credit - Meals provided on set - The opportunity to be part of a film submitted to Sundance, YouTube, and other national and international film festivals and platforms. Additional info: Non union. FORMAT: Short Film, shot on iPhone to capture a raw, intimate, and cinematic aesthetic. LOCATION: Overland Park, KS and Kansas City, MO (Local Production) DISTRIBUTION: Intended for release on YouTube and submission to Sundance Film Festival, with plans to submit to additional festivals and streaming platforms.
